


Rosahl MDL-3 thin dehumidifying element
This dehumidifier utilizes a solid polymer electrolyte membrane to electrolytically decompose and remove moisture from a container.
When a direct current is applied to the porous electrode attached to the solid polymer electrolyte membrane, moisture on the anode side (dehumidifying side) is split into hydrogen ions (H⁺) and oxygen. The hydrogen ions then migrate through the solid polymer electrolyte membrane to the cathode side (moisture discharge side).
On the cathode side, the hydrogen ions react with oxygen in the air to form water vapor, which is subsequently discharged.
